Actuonix Motion Devices pushes the limits of linear motion with our T16 series linear track actuators. Also known as a mini or micro track actuator, each device uses a mounting block instead of an extending rod. The T16 linear track actuator is well-equipped for projects with tight space restrictions. These linear track actuators are also more tolerant of side loads than standard actuators.
The T16 mini track actuator is available in three stroke lengths: 100mm (3.9"), 200mm (7.9") and 300mm (11.8"), along with three gearing options: 22:1, 64:1 or 256:1. These combinations make the T16 mini track actuator versatile and ideal for a variety of applications.
The T16 mini track actuator is offered with two different control options.
T16-P Series Linear Track Actuators
The T16-P series linear track actuators do not have a built-in controller; instead, they provide an analog position feedback signal that can be input to an external controller.
The P series can be used with our Linear Actuator Control (LAC) board, which offers on-board adjustment of speed, end limits and sensitivity and gives you the option of controlling them with:
- USB (via our Configuration Utility Software)
- 0-3.3VDC
- 4-20mA
- RC Servo
- PWM (This input is 5V tolerant, however the % duty cycle range will differ)
T16-S Series Linear Track Actuators
The T16-S series is operated by reversing polarity on the actuator's two leads. The linear track actuator comes with end-of-stroke limit switches that will shut the unit down if it runs into its end stop.
T16-S linear track actuators come in 12V input only and can be run with the following:
- DPDT Switch
- Relay
- Brushed DC Motor Controller
