Actuonix at Hannover Messe 2026
As a manufacturer of compact motion control solutions, Actuonix connected with major teams working across these sectors. We met biotech engineers looking at small-stroke actuators for lab automation, OEMs refining production systems, and researchers developing specialized equipment for emerging applications.

What Drove Conversations

The P8 stepper actuator and P16 stepper actuators got a lot of attention. Precision manufacturing teams and equipment developers were interested in tighter positional control for compact assemblies. Biotechnology groups came through asking about our micro actuators for lab automation work, particularly feedback-enabled variants and custom housing configurations.

The L12 linear actuators and L16 stepper actuators types too stayed busy throughout the show. We discussed small stroke applications for automated workflows, longer stroke setups for different equipment, and custom modifications to handle specialized requirements. OEMs planning next generation compact setups wanted details on stock levels and lead times for volume commitments.

Stewart platforms and multi-axis motion equipment also drew solid conversations. Teams were working through real integration challenges around precision, repeatability, response timing, and lifecycle expectations.

The Show's Character

Hannover Messe brought a unique atmosphere, with a strong focus on detailed technical conversations. People came knowing what problem they're trying to solve, and they wanted to dig into specifications and constraints rather than high level pitches. Many of the teams at the booth were mid-design or planning equipment for the next product generation. That also led to substantive conversations about integration requirements, performance specifications, and timelines. We got asked a lot of questions about lead times, custom options, and how our actuators would fit into their specific workflows.

What stood out was how consistent the need is for compact, reliable motion in increasingly complex applications. Engineering teams across multiple sectors are designing smaller while pushing performance expectations higher. Space limitations and performance requirements are increasing simultaneously, and compact actuators have become essential rather than optional.
