PQ12-P Series Feedback Actuators
The PQ12-P series is the feedback variant of our popular PQ12 actuator line. They are built to last, constructed using an anodized aluminum shaft, all-metal gearbox, stainless steel screw and bearings.
The PQ12-P line of linear actuators feature an internal potentiometer for position feedback. They do not have an internal controller or end-limit switches. You can use your PQ12-P as a Linear Servo by pairing it with our Linear Actuator Control Board. This combination also gives you USB support, speed control, sensitivity control, position control, and adjustable end limits. Our position feedback actuators are ideal for projects that require a custom stroke length or a lower speed than our stock units, or where remote position monitoring is necessary. Using our LAC board saves you designing a custom controller or a custom actuator.
PQ12-P Series Actuators
Our PQ12-P series linear actuators come in a variety of configurations including:
- 20mm stroke
- 3 gearing options for maximum speeds between 10mm/s and 28mm/s and maximum forces between 18N (4lbs) and 50N (11.2lbs)
- 6V or 12V input options

What stroke lengths are available?
Our PQ12 actuators are our only line without multiple stroke options. This decision was made to save space and keep the PQ12 as compact and powerful as possible. If you need a compact actuator with multiple stroke length options, check out our new P8 line of actuators, available in 10mm, 25mm, 50mm, 75mm and 100mm stroke lengths.
How can I get started with the LAC board?
The LAC board can be a bit intimidating for some users, but it's actually quite simple to use. To help users get started, we made a quick LAC intro video. You can watch the video here.
Do you offer other feedback actuators?
Yes we do. In fact, all of our actuator lines (with the exception of the S20) are available in a -P series.
