PQ12-R Linear Servo
Internal Position Controller. Actuator will move to the commanded position. Compatible with RC Receivers, Arduino, and other Microcontroller systems.
Weighing in at just 15g, the PQ12-R is a powerful micro linear servo in a compact package! PQ12-R series linear servos operate as a direct replacement for standard rotary servos. They use the same standard 3 wire connector, ground, power and control. Regardless of how you drive your servos, be it with an RC receiver, an Arduino board, or a VEX micro-controller, the PQ12-R servo will function in place of a regular servo, but with the added benefit of providing linear motion.
If you're looking for a tiny, plug-and-play linear linear servo that can handle a max force of up to 11lbs, then the PQ12-R series is for you!
As with our other R-Series servos, the PQ12-R is a plug and play replacement for a standard rotary servo. This makes integration into your projects a breeze whether you're controlling them with an RC Receiver, Arduino or another control system.
Actuonix PQ12-R servos are designed to excel in applications across many industries including:

We've compiled a list of frequently asked questions to help you better understand PQ12-R and how they can benefit your projects.
Technically, yes, but we don't recommend this. Always check the specs of your board against the datasheet of the actuator you're considering but as a general rule, a separate power source is a good idea.
Our PQ12 actuators are our only line without multiple stroke options. This decision was made to save space and keep the PQ12 as compact and powerful as possible. If you need a compact actuator with multiple stroke length options, check out our new P8 line of actuators, available in 10mm, 25mm, 50mm, 75mm and 100mm stroke lengths.
All of our models are now available as an -R series linear servo with the exception of our S20 line. Please note that the P8, P16 and T16 models require the use of our Ext-R board and a 12V power supply.
No, you can not use an -R series linear servo with our LAC board. That said, RC is one of the input options for our LAC board. If you pair a -P series actuators with an LAC board, you can control it with a standard RC plug. Using the LAC board this way offers a few advantages including the ability to adjust speed, sensitivity and set custom stroke end limits, as well as offering additional input options, should you want to use them.
