Items in Stock and Items Built to Order:

Stock levels for specific models are indicated on the product page. In stock items ship within 1-2 days. Items that are not currently in stock can be ordered, but there will be a delay before they ship. This varies based on quantity and whether the unit(s) can be custom built or whether we have to wait for stock. If for some reason there will be a longer delay we will contact you by email. Please keep this in mind when you choose an express shipping option.

Shipping Rates:

Due to the sheer volume of packages we ship both FedEx and UPS give us major discounts on our rates that we pass on to our customers. All of our rates are at our cost, unlike most companies we don't use shipping to generate revenue. Even if your company has their own shipping account with FedEx or UPS, our rates are probably better.

Shipping Information:

Our shipping cutoff times are 1PM PST for both UPS and FedExWe ship Monday - Friday all in-stock orders. Once you enter a complete shipping address, the web store will calculate all the shipping options for your order. UPS and FedEx offer Express 1 or 2 day service from our facility to most destinations in the US and Canada. Ground services currently are provided by UPS only.

If you choose "On your Shipping Account" you MUST provide a valid shipping account number from UPS, FedEx, or DHL in the appropriate box . If you don't, your order will be delayed until we get your shipping account number. Please remember to include the service you wish from your shipping company in the comments box

Canadian Orders:

All Canadian orders are charged 5% GST. Our registration number is GST#856547146RT0001. Orders shipped to BC will be charged 7% PST, PST #1002-4419
We do not use Canada Post for Canadian orders as FedEx and UPS are usually much quicker and include tracking. Valid UPS services for Canada are: UPS Standard, UPS 2nd Day Air, and UPS Next Day Air Saver.
FedEx services offered in Canada are 
FedEx Priority and FedEx Economy and FedEx Ground.

USA Orders:

All orders shipped to the USA will have duties and brokerage charges applied which will be due upon receipt. UPS services to the USA are: UPS Ground, UPS Expedited and UPS Express. For FedEx we offer FedEx International Priority and FedEx International Economy and FedEx Ground. For UPS, Express is faster than Expedited, and is 1 or 2 days to the US depending on your location. FedEx Priority Overnight is next day to most US states. The duty imposed by the US Government on Linear Actuators is currently 25%, and there will be brokerage and other bond fees imposed by the broker that you will be responsible for when you receive the order.

International Orders (Outside Canada and the USA):

Shipping charges for all International Orders do not include the duty that is imposed by your country on import. The UPS prepaid shipping charges do include customs brokerage by UPS, but not any duties or taxes that might be charged by the country you are importing to. Valid UPS services for International Orders are: UPS Worldwide Expedited and UPS Express Saver. Please note that UPS excludes some countries from its Expedited Service. For FedEx we offer FedEx International Priority and FedEx International Economy which are brokerage inclusive up to $2500US but do not include any duties or taxes that might be charged by the country you are importing to.
If you have a VAT # please include it in the comments section and in the TaxID field of your customer registration.

Note: We will not modify nor falsify any amounts for Customs Documentation.

Credit Cards:

We accept Visa and Mastercard via our secure credit card service provider. AMEX payments can be done through PayPal either through your own account or as a guest. Please note that the online CC processor is more secure than giving us the number over the phone.


You can also pay with your PayPal account. Choose PayPal and follow the instructions during checkout. Our PayPal account is [email protected].

Purchase Order:

For orders over $200 we offer Net30 terms for pre-qualified companies who wish to place regular orders. Please contact us to determine the credit information required to set up a Net30 account. Payments should be made by cheque in USD. To purchase by PO, please use our online ordering system to pick your products, enter address details, and choose shipping options. Then for payment select 'Purchase Order'. Enter your PO number in the Comments box. Complete the order and note the Order #. You will immediately get an order confirmation email with the details that you can create your PO from. Submit your PO by email or Fax, and reference the Order # you received. Note: If using a PO, your order will only be shipped if you have an existing account with us, otherwise payment is required before we ship.

Wire Transfer, TT, Proforma Payments:

For security reasons, we do not accept wire transfers unless you are a previous customer. First orders must be paid via Credit Card, PayPal or check. For wire transfer information, contact [email protected].
We are not responsible for fees charged at either end for wire transfers. If we do not receive the full amount due on your order, we will not ship until complete payment has been made. Please check when sending a wire transfer that all fees are paid by you the sender in advance.


Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days for credit and may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. They must be shipped prepaid to the above address with all duty and brokerage charges paid by sender . Please contact us before returning items and we can provide an RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorization) number for your return.

Actuonix Motion Devices accepts merchandise returns subject to the terms as outlined below and will replace the product or refund our money at your option. To facilitate processing of returned merchandise please contact a Customer Service Representative to obtain an RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorization) number first prior to returning a product. All returns of non-defective merchandise must be made within 30 days of the date of invoice and be accompanied by the original invoice number and a brief explanation of the reason for the return. Parts returned due to customer error may be subject to a 25% restocking charge. Returned merchandise must be in original packaging and in unused condition.

Defective merchandise may be returned within 180 days of the original invoice date and need not be in original packaging.

Return freight charges must be prepaid. C.O.D. Returns will not be accepted.

Any parts specified as “Non-Cancelable/Non-Returnable” at time of quote or sale are not returnable.

On the customs documents, make sure to check “Goods returned to owner/manufacturer for repair/warranty” using tariff code 9813.00.00.95 otherwise they will be taxed again.
